Do I need experience to book a tour?

Not at all! We welcome everyone, from beginners to advanced paddlers. Our group and private lessons are designed to suit all fitness levels and experiences. Whether you’re brand-new or building your skills, our ACA-certified guides will teach you everything you need to know.

Is there a minimum fitness level required?

If you can comfortably walk and move around, you can paddle with us. Our routes are beginner-friendly, and we go at a relaxed pace with plenty of breaks.

Up for a challenge? We've had the pleasure of working with a variety of professional athletes over the years, helping them enhance their paddling skills, too.

What sets your training apart from others?

Our coaching philosophy is student-centered. We encourage learning through trial and positive feedback, allowing you to discover and improve your skills in a supportive environment, rather than the traditional command-and-coach method.

What should I bring on my tour?

We recommend a water bottle, sunscreen, sunglasses, quick-dry clothing, and water shoes or sandals. Flip-flops are not ideal. We provide all equipment and safety gear. Phones and cameras are welcome at your own risk-- take precautions so they don't go for a swim!

Will we see wildlife on the tour?

It's very possible! Dolphins, manatees, birds, fish, mangroves trees with little crabs that live on the branches and roots... every paddle is different, and it's always amazing.

We follow a strict no-disturbance policy to protect wildlife, so please don't touch, feed or otherwise bother our plant and animal friends.

What if the weather looks bad?

Safety comes first. We monitor weather closely and will contact you if we need to reschedule or adjust plans. Unsafe weather = free reschedule at a time that is safer for you and works with your schedule. We will note a credit to your account and you can book at your discretion.

What safety measures are in place during lessons and tours?

Safety is our top priority. All our instructors are ACA certified and we provide all necessary safety gear. We also conduct a safety briefing before each session to ensure everyone is well-prepared.

Yes — birthdays, teams, scouts, corporate groups, celebrations, and more. Contact us to plan a custom paddle.

Booking a lesson or tour is easy! Just visit our website or give us a call at 727-290-7307. We recommend booking in advance to secure your spot.

What is your cancellation policy?

We do not offer refunds.
 If you need to cancel for any reason, you may reschedule your paddle at no cost as long as you contact us at least 48 hours before your tour time.
Inside 48 hours, cancellations are not eligible for rescheduling.

Weather Policy:
 Safety comes first. If conditions are unsafe, we will reschedule your tour at our discretion. Weather-based cancellations made by WePaddle are not subject to the 48-hour rule, so if the weather looks sketchy, we sure we have current contact information.

Why don’t you offer refunds?

Because we’re a small, safety-focused paddling company, every tour requires advance planning, guide scheduling, and limited-capacity spots. When a guest books a tour, we reserve equipment, block that time slot, and secure certified guides, all of whom must be paid regardless of last-minute cancellations.

Water conditions are also unpredictable. While we do our best to choose safe, enjoyable windows, weather can shift quickly in Florida. If conditions require us to reschedule, we’ll work with you to find a new date, but because these factors are outside anyone’s control, refunds aren’t possible.

This policy is standard across paddle and eco-tour companies and ensures we can operate safely, pay our guides fairly, and keep groups small and personalized for every guest.
